Ordinary cleaning methods generally can not reach the hole, and the reaction products and other pollutants of the core material in the hole will produce repeated pollution in the post-process. No matter using organic solvent or cleaning liquid cleaning is easy to introduce new pollution sources, but using ultrasonic cleaning technology can achieve no repeated pollution, and can be deep into the MCP hole effect. For MCP with different materials and aperture, ultrasonic wave with adjustable frequency and sound intensity should be used for experiment to determine the actual process parameters. For the cleaning of pore size 6-12 μmMCP, when the medium liquid is water and ethanol, ultrasonic wave with cavitation threshold about 1/3 W/cm2, sound intensity 1020 W/cm2 and frequency 20120 kHz can be used for cleaning. Table 1 shows the apparent and electrical performance test results of MCP with different plate numbers in the same section after ultrasonic cleaning at different frequencies. It can be seen from the detection results that for the small particle pollutants less than 1μm, ultrasonic frequency of more than 40 kHz should be used for cleaning.
